Job Duties
** Design and develop Fusion Desktop applications, integrating them into People Axis Standards
** Develop and maintain enterprise-class context management components
** Interact closely with design, UI and other development staff
** Continuously improve software engineering processes and productivities
** Work with customers and Customer Services organization to deliver optimal product solutions
** Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned
Education and Knowledge
** B.S. in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering or equivalent experience. M.S. degree a plus.
** Extensive knowledge of software design, object oriented design, and object oriented programming. Experience
** Strong Java and J2EE design and coding skills
** Demonstrated success in developing commercial software products
** A combination and good balance of hands-on design and programming skills
** 3+ years of software development utilizing an iterative development methodology
** 5+ years experience of professional software development.
** Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting and debugging complex, enterprise-class software solutions
